The panel (31) has a photovoltaic cell module (34) e.g. photovoltaic module, and a support structure (35) e.g. ribbed plate, for fixation of the photovoltaic cell module. The support structure is profiled to present upper parts (37) e.g. flats, raised with respect to bottom of adjacent lower parts (38) e.g. ribs. The module is fixed on top of the upper parts so as to freely allow the lower parts to flow fluid e.g. streaming water. Fixing units (33) for fixing the structure on a roof are placed in a reduced width flat. The support structure is manufactured from stamped steel sheet. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a photovoltaic panel.
