The support (1) has a thermoplastic e.g. polyamide, material wall with an external face equipped with fixation plane surfaces (11, 12) fixing an air intake distributor (4). The wall includes an internal face equipped with ribs. The internal face and ribs are covered with a metallic material. The external face forms an air distributor duct passing recess between the surfaces, where the air intake distributor is arranged in the recess. The air intake distributor includes tongues (41, 42) that are plated on the surfaces (11, 12) respectively. An independent claim is also included for an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle comprising an exhaust gas recycling circuit.
