PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new system which supplies a transfusion medicine to a patient. PSOLUTION: A system and a method, which automatically supply a transfusion medicine to a patient, are disclosed. A transfusion feed system 10 includes a transfusion set 12 and a transfusion device 14. A signal parameter arranged in a transfusion set parameter identifies the administration protocol of the transfusion set 12. A detector operably connected to the transfusion device 14 detects the signal parameter and identifies the administration protocol. After that, the transfusion device 14 is set so as to operate according to the administration protocol. A transfusion tube 24 for supplying the transfusion medicine 28 to the transfusion device 14 extends from a transfusion medicine source 22 to the transfusion device 14. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
