PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glazed product wherein silver is condensed near a blazed layer outermost surface and a production method thereof, a method of easily detecting the silver in the glazed layer and a method of easily recovering the silver from the glazed layer.;SOLUTION: A silica film precursor capable of forming water glass or silica coating film is stuck on the surface of the glazed layer of a glazed product base material having the glazed layer containing silver, formed on the surface of the base material, and fired at 300-800°C to form an alkali silicate containing layer.
