PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferritic stainless steel excellent in corrosion resistance of a welded part with austenite stainless steel.;SOLUTION: The ferritic stainless steel includes: C of 0.02 mass% or less; Si of 3 mass% or less; Mn of 1 mass% or less; P of 0.04 mass% or less; S of 0.03 mass% or less; Ni of 3 mass% or less; Cr of 18 to 26 mass%; Mo of 0.3 to 2 mass%; Nb of 0.1 to 0.6 mass%; and N of 0.025 mass% or less, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities. Furhter, the composition of the ferritic stainless steel is adjusted such that a value (a) defined by the following equation becomes 23 or more; value (a)=Cr%+Mo%+1.5(Si%)+0.5(Nb%)+0.9(Mn%)+1.5(Ni%). By thus regulating synthetic elements, the corrosion resistance of the welded part with austenite stainless steel can be improved.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
