PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately control a driving device for driving the irradiation position of therapeutic radiation.;SOLUTION: The radiation irradiation apparatus includes: a manipulation quantity computing part 121 for computing the quantity of manipulation 124 before correction based on the positional deviation 100 computed by subtracting the position sensor value measured by a position detection sensor from a target position; a coefficient computing part 122 for computing a coefficient 125 which simply decreases in relation to the absolute value of the positional deviation 100; and a multiplier 123 for computing the quantity of manipulation 101 after correction by multiplying the quantity of manipulation 124 before correction by the coefficient 125. The driving device is controlled so that the radiation irradiation apparatus for emitting therapeutic radiation is disposed at the target position based on the quantity of manipulation 101 after correction. The radiation irradiation apparatus can be more stably driven because the quantity of manipulation 101 after correction does not become too large if the positional deviation 100 is large, and further, the radiation irradiation apparatus can be more easily produced by remodeling the control apparatus for controlling the driving device based on the quantity of manipulation 124 before correction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
