PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent transfer frauds by a foreign language notation mode which utilizes an ATM (automated teller machine). PSOLUTION: The ATM 10 reads a customer's card 16a, obtains a second customer information 16a1 required for transaction, and sends it to a channel navigator system (CN system) 30. The CN system 30 performs matching of the second customer information with a foreign language notation customer list 34a stored in a customer information database 34; generates a foreign language inhibition flag 18c1 of a customer applicable to the second customer information 16a1; and sends the generated foreign language inhibit flag 18c1 to the ATM 10. The ATM 10 receives and stores the foreign language inhibition flag 18c1 in the foreign language inhibit section 18c. When a transfer procedure by a customer advances by the foreign language notation, the transfer procedure is returned to an initial state; and moreover, selection of the foreign language notation is inhibited by making a foreign language conversion button non-displaying.
