PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing ethylene gas using fine water droplets by electrostatic atomization sufficiently exerting effect such as mold proof, deodorization, removal of ethylene gas, and moisture retention. PSOLUTION: The method for removing ethylene gas using fine water droplets by electrostatic atomization includes: subjecting water W to electrostatic atomization so as to generate fine water droplets by electrostatic atomization M containing active species; and making the active species falling in the fine water droplets by electrostatic atomization M react with the ethylene gas so as to decompose the ethylene gas into carbon dioxide and water.
