PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CMA (Constant Modulus Algorithm) equalizing apparatus which can more suitably suppress divergence of an output signal.;SOLUTION: The CMA equalizing apparatus is provided with: an adaptive filter which carries out filtering an input signal according to an established filter coefficient, and outputs the obtained signal; an output calculation unit which operates a signal output from the adaptive filter, and outputs the obtained output signal; an error calculation unit which calculates an error of the output signal from a target value, and outputs the error value of the calculation resu a counter which accumulates period in that the error value is equal to a threshold value or more, and outputs a counted value obtained by subtraction of period in that the error value is less than the threshold value from the accumulated value one by one; a coefficient calculation unit which calculates and outputs the filter coefficient based on the error value, or establishes and outputs the filter coefficient as an upper limit value; and a control unit which controls the filter coefficient by controlling the coefficient calculation unit based on the counted value and the error value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
