PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for preventing unsuitable exchange of e-mail, occurrence of misunderstanding, and occurrence of a trouble caused by wrong transmission. PSOLUTION: An e-mail receiver which receives an e-mail from an external server over a communication network includes a reception means 201 which is connected with a communication network and receives an e-mail, a greeting sentence abstraction means 202 which abstracts a greeting sentence from a received e-mail, a nuance of greeting sentence determination means 203 which determines the type of nuance included in a greeting sentence by using at least the phrase information included in the greeting sentence, and a received mail output means 204 which outputs the type of nuance information of the greeting sentence thus determined along with the e-mail.
