PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low fat and low calorie birthday cake which a person suffering from a metabolic syndrome or diabetes mellitus eats with his or her family once a year while his obesity and blood sugar level are suppressed.;SOLUTION: Since the birthday cake is of high fat and high carbohydrate, the birthday cake is a high energy food, is liable to bring a high blood sugar level after digestion and absorption, and may give a burden to pancreas. An activity of bifidus bacterium is accelerated by using an oligosaccharide and Konjak powder to suppress the fat and the carbohydrate, and a bowel motion is improved by hardly digestible dietary fiber in the large intestine.
