PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive layer stripping method for a photosensitive layer of an electrophotographic photoreceptor, by which only a photosensitive layer (a charge generating layer and a charge transporting layer) is easily swollen and stripped without damaging a substrate from an electrophotographic photoreceptor which is a defective product during the manufacture, or is a used one, and which includes an easy working process, and also to provide a resulting electrophotographic photoreceptor for regeneration, a regenerated conductive substrate, and a regenerated electrophotographic photoreceptor.;SOLUTION: The layer stripping method for an electrophotographic photoreceptor having a layer structure including at least an intermediate layer, a charge generating layer and a charge transporting layer containing a binder resin, successively layered on a conductive substrate, is carried out by immersing the electrophotographic photoreceptor in a stripping liquid that swells the binder resin of the charge transporting layer, but does not dissolve the resin, and supplying a compressed gas to the stripping liquid to swell and strip the charge transporting layer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
