ROSIN-MODIFIED ALKYD RESIN, OFFSET INK OBTAINED USING THE SAME, AND PRINTED MATTER THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a rosin-modified alkyd resin excellent in pigment dispersibility, the rosin-modified alkyd resin produced by using the production method, offset ink in which the rosin-modified alkyd resin is incorporated and which is excellent in fluidity, and printed matter excellent in gloss.;SOLUTION: The method for producing the rosin-modified alkyd resin having 5-45 mg-KOH/g acid value comprises a step of reacting rosins, acrylic acid, polyhydric alcohol and a metal compound. The offset ink is obtained by incorporating therein the rosin-modified alkyd resin produced by the production method.
