PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fireproof reinforcing method enhancing fireproof performance, without having to replace eaves-soffit board, and to provide a fireproof reinforced body.;SOLUTION: According to an eaves-soffit fireproof reinforcing method, a fireproof reinforced body is installed above the eaves-soffit board of an eaves-soffit structure, wherein the eaves-soffit board having a specified fireproof performance is suspended from a support member on the soffit of an eaves of a building to form an eaves-soffit space above the eaves-soffit board. The fireproof reinforced body 81 is formed, into a plate shape having different rigidity against out-of-plane, bending in directions perpendicular to each other. The eaves is built up before the eaves-soffit board is supported by the support member. Then, the fireproof reinforced body 81 is bent about a weak axis on the low rigidity side. In this bent state, the reinforced body is inserted in the eaves-soffit space S and is extended, to restore the plate shape. An edge of the reinforced body as an end edge about a strong axis on the high rigidity side is installed on a joist 52 as a main support end, and then the eaves-soffit board 35 is installed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
