CIRCULATING TYPE BILL-HOUSING DEVICE AND BILL PROCESSOR

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the unevenness of a lateral position between accumulated bills when accumulating small-width bills successively input in a stacked state, in a switchback circulating type bill-housing device capable of processing a plurality of bills differed in width dimension, without increase in the number of part items and a complicated structure. PSOLUTION: The device includes a bill accumulation dead space 32 having guide walls 34 raised from both lateral sides of a bill accumulation surface 33, and a bill receiving and paying mechanism 45. The bill receiving and paying mechanism includes a central guide member disposed separately above the bill accumulating surface with the bottom surface being inclined downward from the upstream side in a bill carrying direction to the downstream side. Each of the guide walls includes an inclined guide surface inclined upward from the upstream side and the downstream side in an upstream portion in the bill carrying direction.
