PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive lithographic printing plate material having high sensitivity and excellent in scratch resistance and storage stability, a method for producing a positive lithographic printing plate material by which the positive lithographic printing plate material having high sensitivity and excellent in scratch resistance and storage stability can be produced with high productivity, and a lithographic printing plate material package.;SOLUTION: The positive lithographic printing plate material is produced by disposing on an aluminum support a photosensitive layer containing an alkali-soluble resin having phenolic hydroxyl groups and a near-infrared absorbing dye having an absorption maximum at a wavelength of 700-1,200 nm, and carrying out heat treatment, wherein an atmosphere around a printing plate material in the heat treatment is an acidic atmosphere of pH 3-6.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
