PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the convenience of a customer when a plurality of retail stores in a shopping street, a shopping mall or the like provide a discount ticket of a parking lot.;SOLUTION: A parking fee discount system includes a charge processing apparatus, a parking fee discount machine, and an electronic money storage medium. The charge processing apparatus causes a purchase storage part of the electronic money storage medium to cumulatively store the total price of merchandise purchased by a customer. Then, the customer uses the parking fee discount machine to read the cumulative price stored in the electronic money storage medium.
