PHRASE-BASED STATISTICS MACHINE TRANSLATION METHOD AND SYSTEM

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for phrase-based statistics machine translation for effectively improving translation quality. PSOLUTION: The statistics machine translation method includes the following steps: step 305 for acquiring an input sentence to be translated; step 310 for retrieving a translation phrase pair identical to or most similar to each phrase in an input sentence from a phrase table constructed in advance by a phrase fuzzy matching method, and for performing correction to the most similar translation phrase pair to obtain an accurate translation sentence of each phrase; step 315 for detecting all translation sentences of an object language for the input sentence, based on the translation phrase pair obtained in the step 310 and the language model constructed in advance, and for selecting a translation sentence having the highest score as an object language translation sentence having an appropriate input sentence by a statistical model; and step 320 for outputting the generated object language translation sentence.
