PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chopstick assisting tool for allowing a cared person with fingers deteriorated in function to correctly hold chopsticks in order to have a meal by him/herself and to easily operate the chopsticks with subtle force, and to provide chopsticks with the assisting tool.;SOLUTION: The chopstick assisting tool 1 includes: a base 20 made of an elastic body and having a through-hole 22 for holding a fixed chopstick and a through-hole 21 for holding a movable chopstick; and a fingerstall 30 for inserting the first finger, a fingerstall 40 for inserting the second finger, and a fingerstall 50 for inserting the third finger, which are arranged on the peripheral surface 23 of the base. The chopsticks 60, 61 are mounted on the chopstick assisting tool, and then, the respective fingers are inserted into the fingerstalls. The chopsticks are correctly held only by inserting the fingers to the fingerstalls and easily operated with the subtle force, so that the cared person has a meal by him/herself. The tool is also used by a foreigner who is unfamiliar with the chopsticks in addition to the cared person, and also used by a left-hander, an infant or the like to correctly use the chopsticks.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
