PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a captured image processing system which allows an image output apparatus to output an image captured by a portable terminal apparatus in a state where resolution for character readability or the like, is improved. PSOLUTION: The portable terminal apparatus consecutively captures images of an identical image capture object (S10) several times, determines whether or not a plurality of pieces of captured image data captured include a combination of a given number of pieces of captured image data which are suitable for the high resolution correction and offset by a given amount (S11), and transmits the given number of pieces of captured image data which are determined to be the combination (S14). The image output apparatus receives the given number of pieces of captured image data from the portable terminal apparatus (S20), carries out, on the basis of the given number of pieces of captured image data received, the high resolution correction for generating high resolution image data which have higher resolution than that of the captured image data (S22), and carries out output processing for outputting the high resolution image data generated (S27).
