ISLAND TYPE KITCHEN COUNTER AND ARRANGEMENT STRUCTURE FOR ISLAND TYPE KITCHEN COUNTER

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an island type kitchen counter and arrangement structure for the island type kitchen counter allowing a child to easily help cooking, while easily communicating with a parent. PSOLUTION: The island type kitchen counter includes: a kitchen counter body 2 having two perpendicular sides in the outer circumferential part in planar view; and an auxiliary table 3 arranged on the outer circumferential part of the kitchen counter body 2. The auxiliary table 3 is formed in an L-shape in planar view, and is arranged along the two perpendicular sides of the kitchen counter body 2 and also arranged at a position lower than the upper surface 2a of the kitchen counter body 2, thereby allowing the child to easily help the parent to perform cooking through the use of the auxiliary table 3. The kitchen counter is arranged so as to allow the parent standing in front of the kitchen counter body 2 to be adjacent obliquely sideways to the child standing in front of the auxiliary table 3.
