PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collector for indoor application, capable of detecting the presence or movement of a person, quickly generating a dust collecting air flow and quickly and efficiently recovering dust generated by the activity of the person.;SOLUTION: The dust collector for indoor application includes: a dust collecting means 8 for recovering the dust moved by the dust collecting air flow 10; a plurality of blowing means 7a-7c disposed indoors and operated in cooperation with the dust collecting means 8 to generate the dust collecting air flow 10 in the entire room; a person detecting means 8a for detecting the presence or movement of a person; and a control means 9 for controlling the blowing means 7a-7c and the dust collecting means 8 corresponding to the detection state of the person detecting means 8a.
