LIGHTNING SURGE SIMULATOR AND CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightning surge simulator which can flexibly shape a waveform.;SOLUTION: The lightning surge simulator (test machine) 1 for applying a lightning surge test current-voltage waveform to a DUT 9 comprises a first output unit 10 for applying a first type of, or high-voltage/low-current, waveform and a second output unit 20 for applying a second type of, or low-voltage/high-current, waveform. The first output unit 10 comprises a first power supply unit 11 for performing power supply with a first voltage and a first waveform shaping unit 12, which is charged by the first power supply unit 11 to output a first type of waveform. The second output unit 20 comprises a second power supply unit 21 for performing power supply with a second voltage, which is lower than the first voltage, and a second waveform shaping unit 22, which is charged by the second power supply unit 21, for forming a second type of waveform, with a timing in connected to the first type of waveform.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
