PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly and surely supply an elliptic rubber stopper to a stopper assembly side without making the rubber stopper clog in a feed-and-supply passage.;SOLUTION: In a rubber stopper supply method, a short-diameter direction of the rubber stopper and a spraying direction of gas are coincided with each other by alternately spraying the gas to the rubber stopper 2 with a cross-section elliptic shape from both sides in a radial direction in a rubber stopper storage space (rubber stopper storage section) 13 of the rubber stopper feed-and-supply passage several times, and the rubber stopper is passed through an elliptic hole section 15 continued to the rubber stopper storage space with that state maintained. A rubber stopper supply system has a first posture correction section 5 for correcting a posture of the rubber stopper 2. The rubber stopper storage section 13 in the middle of the rubber stopper feed-and-supply passage has a rectangular-shaped section 13a at one side, and has a semicircle-shaped section 13b at the other side. The semicircle-shaped section 13b continues to the elliptic hole section 15 of the rubber stopper feed-and-supply passage via a shoulder section 13c, and a blowing section for alternately and intermittently spraying the gas to both side faces of the rubber stopper is arranged on one side and the other side of the rubber stopper storage section by being offset in the axial direction of the rubber stopper.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
