PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of measuring the coke level in a coke dry quenching facility in which the coke level and coke amount in a chamber are measurable with sufficient accuracy by one level meter.;SOLUTION: The method of measuring the coke level in a coke dry quenching facility includes: continuously irradiating with a detecting beam a coke C which has been deposited into one or two or more angle shapes in a chamber from a level meter 3 installed in the upper part of the chamber 1 of the coke dry quenching facility; and measuring the coke level in the chamber by detecting the reflective beam, wherein the level meter 3 is made to rock so that the detecting beam from the level meter may pass each apex C1a, C1b of an angle shape in the coke which has been deposited into one or two or more angle shapes.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
