PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an activity inhibitor of serine protease HtrA1 and/or HtrA2.;SOLUTION: A plant belonging to the genus Betula of the family Betulaceae, a plant belonging to the genus Uncaria of the family Rubiaceae, an ingredient derived from a fermented tea leaf and/or theaflavins are used as the activity inhibitor of the serine protease HtrA1 and/or HtrA2, and the activity inhibitor is formulated with an external preparation.
