PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for adsorbing and removing metal ions which uses a water cleaning agent made of a porous-structured sintered body free from a risk of influence on the environment.;SOLUTION: The method for adsorbing and removing metal ions and a method using the adsorption and removal of metal ions under light irradiation use the water cleaning agent made of the porous-structured sintered body obtained by burning a composition prepared by mixing dredged bottom mud obtained from the bottom of a water system, a titanium oxide powder having a photoreduction effect, and sodium silicate in a solid weight ratio of 43-81%, 6-24%, and 6-46%.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
