PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pillow constituting a middle core (cushion) formed of a silk material that retains properties consisting mainly of air permeability and inherent in the silk material, not providing a person with a pain or a sense of discomfort in the use and relieving the smell of perspiration and the smell inherent in the silkworm cocoons.;SOLUTION: The pillow includes a double-layer structure consisting of the middle core formed of the silkworm cocoons or cut cocoons (a cocoon of which part is cut to remove a silkworm inside), of which fiber parts are penetrated with an essential oil (an organic compound including an aromatic material extracted from a plant) and the silk fibers in which the middle core is wrapped. While retaining the air permeability with air layers formed by the cocoons and the cut cocoons (a cocoon of which part is cut to remove a silkworm inside), which are disposed in the center of the pillow and have hollow shapes, the pillow relieves the pain and a sense of the discomfort through cushion properties of the silk fibers, easing or eliminating the smell of perspiration and the smell inherent in the cocoons through the aroma of the essential oil.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
