PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polylactic acid type gas barrier film which comprises a base material layer consisting of a polylactic acid composition layer having biodegradability and excellent heat resistance, and has gas barrier functionalities, and also to provide a solar cell back sheet using the same. PSOLUTION: In the polylactic acid type gas barrier film, at least on one side of a basic material layer consisting of polylactic acid film of a stereo complex structure, a gas barrier layer is formed that is obtained from salt of unsaturated carboxylic acid compound and a metallic compound. Also, the polylactic acid type gas barrier film is characterized in that the salt of the unsaturated carboxylic acid compound and the metallic compound in the gas barrier layer is the salt with bivalent metallic compound or the salt with bivalent metallic compound and monovalent metallic compound. Further, the back sheet for a solar cell module is characterized in that a colored film is laminated through an adhesive layer on one side of the film and a filler material layer is laminated through an adhesive layer on the other side.
