PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepladder and ladder overturning preventing implement which can be easily attached to and detached from a stepladder or a ladder of various sizes and kinds without processing work, and has improved durability, safety and convenience while maintaining the property of effectively preventing the overturning.;SOLUTION: The stepladder and ladder overturning preventing implement is fitted to a vertical member of the stepladder or the ladder by a fitting member to prevent the overturning of the stepladder or the ladder with a rod-like auxiliary member. The fitting member has: a fitting part fitted to the vertical member; and a tube-like body part having a mechanism in it for forming a rotation center in the auxiliary member, which are integrally formed. The auxiliary member is arranged so that the rotational movement may be stopped by coming into contact with an inner wall of the tube-like body part. The vertical member in the state where the fitting member is fitted, and the auxiliary member being in contact with the inner wall of the tube-like body part are structured to form an angle of 5-25°, and to be symmetric.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
