SEARCH DEVICE USING POLYSEMOUS WORD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a search device using a polysemous word, which presents only a retrieval result having an optimum meaning when using a search keyword having a plurality of meanings.;SOLUTION: Meanings of document data related to a keyword having a plurality of meanings are registered. When the keyword having the plurality of meanings is input for search, the document data are retrieved based on the keyword, the number of documents for each semantic category in a predetermined period is counted by use of registration dates of the corresponding document data, and the document data belonging to the semantic category having a larger number of the documents are extracted and presented.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
