PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that foams are inclosed in a damping material if the damping material is applied to a work while being undulated and overlapped and due to the undulated and overlapped coating when the thickness of the damping material is to be adjusted in such a manner that, in conventional damping material coating methods, the thickness of damping material for coating is adjusted by adjusting the nozzle transportation speed.;SOLUTION: The nozzle for discharging the damping material includes a slit-like discharge port and an adjustment mechanism for adjusting the slit width of the discharge port. The thickness of the damping material to be applied can be adjusted by adjusting the slit width of the discharge port. Accordingly, with no need of carrying out coating with the damping material in a undulated state, the thickness of the damping material can be adjusted.
