PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a finger vein pattern input device for a personal authentication device, capable of photographing a finger vein, without causing any inconvenience for positioning a finger tip of an authentication objective person, when a closing type finger insertion part for a peripheral environment is adopted, in the finger vein pattern input device for the personal authentication device. PSOLUTION: A tip finger mounting block is provided in an inside of the finger vein pattern input device, the finger mounting block is made transparent to image a finger tip contour, when the a finger of the authentication person is mounted on the finger mounting block, and a positioning guide or a semicircular shape part matched with a finger tip shape is formed not to fluctuated the finger laterally.
