PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repair and maintenance support system for efficiently retrieving data including necessary information to present proper information to a customer, when performing the data retrieval from a database related to a system of equipment, a plant or the like. PSOLUTION: This repair and maintenance support system 100 has: a customer DB 131 for associating customer identification information, equipment identification information, and customer equipment situation information, and storing them as customer equipment information; and a coping method DB 132 for associating the equipment identification information, equipment situation information, and an equipment coping method, and storing them as equipment coping information, and extracts information constituting the customer equipment information or the equipment coping information from input information received from an input part as retrieval condition information, retrieves and extracts the customer equipment information from the customer DB based on the retrieval condition information, retrieves and extracts the equipment coping information from the coping method DB based on the extracted customer equipment information, further retrieves and extracts the equipment coping information based on the retrieval condition information, and presents a coping method based on the extracted equipment coping information.
