PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sex attractant by clarifying the chemical structure of a sex pheromone of pear cactus moth which is expected to use in generation reconnaissance and communication disturbance.;SOLUTION: There are provided the sex pheromone matter of Ectomyelois pyrivorella containing at lease (Z)-9-pentadecenyl acetate and the sex attractant. In a favorable embodiment, a sex pheromone matter of pear cactus moth including (Z)-9-pentadecenyl acetate and pentadecyl acetate is provided.
