PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide tea leaf granules which can easily be dispersed without forming the lump of the granules, when added to water or hot water, and can stably hold the green color, flavor and delicious taste of the tea leaves.;SOLUTION: The tea leaf granules have an angle of repose of 45 degree. The tea leaf granules may contain a vehicle. A method for producing the tea leaf granules comprises adding an aqueous liquid to a ground tea leaf product and then granulating the material in a fluidized layer. The fluidized tea leaf ground product is mixed with water and then dried to obtain the granules in which a plurality of green tea leaf ground product granules such as a green tea powder or powdered green tea are integrated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
