PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knee orthotic correcting the position of the center of swivelling of the tibia when walking.;SOLUTION: The knee orthotic joint member set has an inner-foot side joint member and an outer-foot side joint member. The inner-foot side joint member has a nearly strip-shaped femoral member and a lower-thigh member, one of which has a rack and the other has a gear. The femoral member and the lower-thigh member are rotatably coupled to each other with the rack and gear, and the lower-thigh member is moved from the end side to the center side of the femoral member when the components rotate in the direction whereby the angle between the femoral member and the lower-thigh member is widened. The outer-foot side joint member has a nearly strip-shaped femoral member and a lower-thigh member, one of which has a rack and the other has a gear. The femoral member and the lower-thigh member are rotatably coupled to each other with the rack and the gear, and the lower-thigh member is moved from the center side to the end side of the femoral member when the components rotate in the direction whereby the angle between the femoral member and the lower-thigh member is widened.
