PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that tea leaves must be generally plucked by waiting the tea leaves to be dried, as the tea plucking is difficult, when it has rained, due to wetting of surfaces of the tea leaves and heavy weight of a tea bag for holding the tea leaves caused by wetting, in addition, wet tea leaves are called dew covered leaves and it takes long time in a tea producing process mainly comprising drying operations, thus the efficiency is lowered and the quality is deteriorated.;SOLUTION: In a traveling type tea leaf plucking machine which plucks tea leaves by traveling along a tea ridge, a means for installing blast pipes which blow off surfaces of tea trees in the front part of the machine body is used. In the machine, two traveling devices of endless track type which sandwich the tea ridge or traveling devices which travel on two rails laid by sandwiching the tea ridge are connected with a gate-shaped frame, a plucking device is installed below the gate-shaped frame and tea bags are connected to the plucking device.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
