PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating film optical properties calculating method, a coating film optical properties calculating device, a computer program, and a recording medium capable of estimating light intensity within coating film impossible to be measured, with regards to methods computing optical properties formed on a substrate.;SOLUTION: In order to estimate unmeasurable intensity of light (I4) propagating to a substrate within a coating film, an intensity ratio (I4/I1) of the intensity of light (I4) to the intensity of light (I1) entering from a surface of the coating film formed on the substrate is calculated from absorption coefficient K and scattering coefficient S of the coating film as well as reflectivity coefficient R'_g of the substrate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
