PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alcohol detection device provided on a vehicle for detecting highly accurately alcohol contained in exhalation of a driver.;SOLUTION: A frequency change caused by alcohol is clarified by constituting this detection device to have: a quartz oscillator having a vibration domain for alcohol detection, wherein an adsorption layer for adsorbing alcohol is formed on its surface, and a characteristic frequency is changed by alcohol adsorption onto the adsorption layer, and a vibration domain for reference provided on a domain different from the vibration domain for detection, on which alcohol is not adsorbed; and a data generation means for verification including a means for generating time series data of a difference value between each frequency, based on a frequency corresponding to oscillation output from the vibration domain for detection and a frequency corresponding to oscillation output from the vibration domain for reference, and a means for removing a pulse flow part included in the time series data by regarding it as a noise.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
