PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for adding tar sludge, which suppresses reduction of the strength of coke.;SOLUTION: The method includes recovering coal tar from coke oven gases generated by operating the coke oven, drying tar sludge separated from the coal tar to form dried tar sludge, classifying the dried tar sludge by using a sieve with an aperture of 50 mm, and adding dried tar sludge remaining on the sieve to a coke oven charge coal, in the range of 0.5 pts.mass or less based on 100 pts.mass of the coke oven charge coal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
