PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal gear-shaped diamond dresser capable of truing and dressing highly accurately and highly efficiently a grindstone for use in highly accurately grinding an internal gear which has been tempered. PSOLUTION: The internal gear-shaped diamond dresser being designed by the almost same specification as that of the internal gear of a workpiece, having a tooth shape at an inner diameter part of a ring shaped metal substrate, and having a clearance at both ends of the tooth shape in a tooth width direction is used. The clearance is set by chamfering or providing a step. Preferably, module, pressure angle, torsion angle, tooth thickness and the like which are main specifications of the gear are each made to be the same as those of the workpiece. A tooth width and a tooth depth are designed to be larger than those of the workpiece to ensure meshing with the grindstone.
