PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely cure a nonvulcanized butyl rubber for a waterproof seal member even in a water splashing place.;SOLUTION: This waterproof seal member, which is arranged in a boundary between opposed concrete walls so as to seal a gap in the boundary, comprises: a nonvulcanized butyl rubber layer 21 which adheres to a wall surface of the concrete wall; a first nonadhesive protective coating 20 which is provided in such a manner as to cover one surface 24 of the nonvulcanized butyl rubber layer 21; and second nonadhesive protective coatings 22 and 23 which is provided in such a manner as to cover the other surface 26 thereof. The second protective coatings 22 and 23 are cut along a continuous cutting line 30 longitudinally cutting the other surface 26. The first protective coating 20 is peeled off; the one surface 24 of the nonvulcanized butyl rubber layer 21 adheres to the wall surface of the one concrete wall; the concrete wall is constructed; the nonvulcanized butyl rubber layer 21 is crushed by the pressure of the concrete wall; a spacing between the cutting lines 30 is pushed and widened; and the exposed band-like nonvulcanized butyl rubber layer 21 adheres to the other concrete wall 12.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
