The allocation to the cell of the code sequence and secondary synchronization code sequence primary synchronization in a wireless communication system

Technique to assign a cell of a wireless communication system, the secondary synchronization code and (PSC) sequence primary synchronization codes (SSC) sequence is explained. SSC sequences and multiple PSC one sequence may be used for multiple cells in a Node B, at least. In one design, the available SSC sequences in the system is configured in a group, each group contains SSC sequences M different. (Eg, cyclic shift) additional groups of SSC sequences the M, can be formed using a different permutation. In one design 1, _(G 2), SSC and _{(G 3),} can be used for three cells in the Node B for one 1 (G 1), SSC SSC sequences _SSC three._(G 3), _(G 1), and the permutations of the first, including a _{(G 2)} SSC, can be used for three cells in the Node B in a different SSC SSC._(G 3), and can be used for three cells in the Node B of another, permutations second containing _{(G 1)} SSC SSC _(G 2), SSC.
