PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation device of a pair of gears for precisely and quantitatively grasping backlash of each kind of gear pair. Information on gaps between tooth surfaces at drive and coast sides of a tooth surface is obtained by the computations, and backlash information is obtained based on the information on the gaps between the tooth surfaces.
