PSOLUTION: In a vehicle wherein an output shaft of the internal combustion engine is connected to a power generator and an electric motor through a planetary gear mechanism, this misfire determination device for the internal combustion engine calculates the sum of a 90 difference TD90 of a 30 rotation required time T30 to a cylinder of a target and a 90 difference TD90 of a cylinder wherein combustion is most recently performed as a deciding value J1 when pressing torque Tp for preventing tooth hitting of the planetary gear mechanism is not output from the electric motor in time of a stop (S130), decides that the cylinder of the target misfires when the calculated deciding value J1 is larger than a threshold value J1ref (S140, S150), calculates a value calculated as 360 difference TD360 of the 90 difference TD90 of the 30 rotation required time T30 to the cylinder of the target as a deciding value J2 when the pressing torque Tp is output from the electric motor (S160), and decides that the cylinder of the target misfires when the calculated deciding value J2 is larger than a threshold value J2ref (S160, S170).
