PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an O/W emulsion type lubricating oil composition stably dispersing mineral oil in water and allowing long-term storage and use, and an O/W type emulsification stock solution for producing the O/W emulsion type lubricating oil composition.;SOLUTION: The O/W type emulsification stock solution comprises a sulfonate compound with a base value of 0.01-0.60 mgKOH/g.
