TANNIN-BASED ADHESIVE, AND WOODY COMPOSITE MATERIAL USING THE SAME

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tannin-based adhesive capable of enhancing the reactivity of the tannin-based adhesive, shortening not only curing time but also hot-pressing molding time to raise the productivity, making not only the curing time but also the hot-pressing molding time equivalent to those of conventional tannin-based adhesives even at a lower temperature, and saving energy, and to provide a woody composite material having excellent practical strength and using the tannin-based adhesive. PSOLUTION: The tannin-based adhesive is obtained by compounding tannin or a modified tannin, a crosslinking agent or a curing agent, and a strong alkali salt of a weak acid.
