PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooler capable of saving spaces for a cooler and a defrosting heater while reducing power consumption in defrosting and suppressing degradation of cooling capacity.;SOLUTION: This cooler 1 disposed in a refrigerator body 11 composed of a heat insulating housing defining a storage compartment, is composed of cooling pipes 2 and fins 4, the fins 4 are not penetrated through the cooling pipe 2 located at least at the lowermost stage, uncovered pipe sections 2c are disposed in adjacent to each other, and a defrosting heater 5 is fixed to the cooler 1 through the uncovered pipe sections 2c and a heat transfer plate 6, thus heat conduction of the cooling pipes 2 and the fins 4 and in-pipe convection flow can be improved, and defrosting can be efficiently performed. As the uncovered pipe sections 2c are disposed in adjacent to each other, an area of the heat transfer plate 6 can be reduced, ventilation resistance can be reduced, and cooling performance of the cooler 1 can be ensured.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
