PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid pressing weight with a timer function informing the timing of completion while pressing the lid during cooking when a pot noodle is cooked while following a cooking method specified by a pot noodle manufacturer by knowing the timing of completion while pressing the lid, by solving a problem wherein the lid is pressed usually by folding a "tab" included in the lid of a vessel and the time of the completion is measured by a watch or a timer for cooking, but the "tab" comes off to peel the lid or there is inconvenience of repeatedly recognizing the time passage with the watch.;SOLUTION: The timer for cooking is disposed in the weight of the extent with which the lid of the pot noodle is not been peeled. The lid pressing weight includes a small window for displaying the remaining time on the timer, a start button set at the time such as 3 minutes, 4 minutes, 5 minutes or the like, a stop button, a lamp during count-down operation, and an alarm sound issuing function and lamp for telling count termination.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
